Ida(ē`dä), city (1990 pop. 91,859), Nagano prefecture, central Honshu, Japan, on the Tenryu River. It is an agricultural market and railway junction.
(also called Psiloriti), a mountain massif in central Crete. Composed of limestones. Elevation, 2,456 m. The stony slopes of the massif are covered by sparse prickly and pulvinate xeromorphic undershrubs and shrubs and stiff grasses.
