Altered zinc metabolism contributes to the developmental toxicity
of 2-ethylhexanoic acid, 2-ethylhexanol and valproic acid. Included in the transaction are Sunoco's
Pasadena, TX, site with the land, phthalic anhydride and oxo alcohol
manufacturing plants, and the phthalate esters, 2-ethylhexanol and
phthalic anhydride businesses. The expansion includes a new oxo synthesis
plant to convert polypropylene to 140,000 metric tons per year of
butyraldehydes, and a new 70,000 metric tons-per-year oxo alcohol unit
in which JCIC can produce either normal butanol or 2-ethylhexanol. |
