The rotation period is about 5.13 hours. Davida orbits the Sun at a mean distance of 3.2 AU once every 5.64 years. Ground-based high-resolution pictures taken from the W.M. Keck Observatory reveal that the surface is very smooth and uniform. The mean diameter is about 326 km.
An asteroid with a diameter of about 322 kilometers, mean distance from the sun of 3.18 astronomical units, and C-type surface composition.
