NZNO wants a scope similar to the United Kingdom's Central Council 1992 RN scope.
All anybody can do with a scope is look through it, but assuming that a scope is totally terrific because of its lenses is like assuming the latest Ford pickup is a great off-road vehicle because it has a really clear windshield.
Another initial consideration when selecting a scope is its construction.
