Fortunately, the recently developed ac coupling technique that divides the low ([less than] 10 MHz) and high frequency input signals allows researchers to drive multiple arrays in parallel at high frequency and to bias the arrays in series at low frequency.
Negative swing capability so that audio signals can swing below ground, eliminating the need for AC coupling capacitors.
AC coupling allows us to use distributed arrays of more than 4000 junctions that have larger output voltage as compared to the previously used lumped arrays with only 250 junctions.
