ANDF
(Architecture Neutral Distribution Format) An earlier, proposed intermediate language for developing shrink-wrapped Unix applications from the OSF (later The Open Group). Applications would be compiled into the ANDF intermediate language and execute in target machines that had an ANDF compiler. The ANDF technology was developed by England's Defense Evaluation and Research Agency. For more information, visit www.ten15.org.
