AUTORUN.INF
A Windows text file that is stored in the root directory of an optical disc or USB drive that identifies the program to automatically run when it is inserted into the computer. See AutoRun and Win AutoRun.

There is a new command that designated Auto run program turning an ordinary file into an Autorun.
The file spreads by making copies of itself on removable drives and creates an autorun.
The worm W32/LiarVBA- worm hunts for removable drives such as floppy disks and USB memory sticks (as well as spreading via network shares), and then creates a hidden file called autorun.
