Abadzekhs
formerly one of the major Adyg tribes, now an ethnographic Adygeian group who live in the aul (village) of Shovgenovskii, Shovgenovskii Raion, Adygei Autonomous Oblast. They speak Abadzekh, a dialect which is being gradually supplanted by the literary Adygei language. Abadzekh believers are Sunnites. Their basic occupations are agriculture, animal husbandry, and horticulture. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
