Aban 

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Aban Raion, Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR, with a population of 7,300 (1969). It is situated on the Aban River (of the Enisei River basin), 62 km northeast of the railroad station Kansk-Eniseisk on the Krasnoiarsk-Irkutsk line. Lumber and forest chemistry are the leading industries. Aban also has a plant for processing fats and oils.
