Died 1366. A Samarkand artisan who was one of the leaders of the serbedar rebellion (the rebellion of “those who were willing to place their heads on the block”) in Samarkand in 1365–66, during the attack on Transoxiana by the khan of the Mongol empire, Il’ias-Khoji.
