Acetonitrile is used by Ineos as a pharmaceutical solvent, and Lucite International uses Acetone Cyanohydrin in the production of hard plastics.
1999/2002: Further joint ventures with Inoes and Lucite International saw plants built on the site for Acetonitrile and Acetone Cyanohydrin which uses BASF by products as raw materials for further production.
