CaCO3 is used for its treatment (Aziz et al. Frodeman previously orchestrated The Southwest Earth Studies
Program, a REU that united five earth science students with five
philosophy students to examine issues surrounding acid mine drainage in
Colorado. Once bank-stained and dead from acid mine drainage, the upper
Arkansas will soon hold trout--and great promise for cleanup of other
western streams. |
