A feature in an e-mail program for storing e-mail addresses.

address book

(1) A file of e-mail addresses that is maintained in an e-mail program. See Web white pages.

(2) A file of names, addresses and phone numbers maintained in a personal information manager (PIM), contact manager, mobile phone or other application that deals with groups of individuals or companies in some manner.
