Afro-Asian People’s Solidarity Conferences
the highest body of the Afro-Asian People’s Solidarity Organization. Between the founding of the organization and 1973, five conferences were held: in 1957 in Cairo, Egypt; in 1960 in Conakry, Guinea; in 1963 in Moshi, Tanzania; in 1965 in Winneba, Ghana; and in 1972 in Cairo. Extraordinary conferences of the Afro-Asian People’s Solidarity Organization are held when the need arises. For instance, an extraordinary conference was held in July 1967 in Cairo in support of the Arab people’s struggle against the imperialist aggression of Israel. Another extraordinary conference was held in September 1968 in Cairo in support of the struggle of the Vietnamese people against American imperialist aggression. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
