Aftermath
the grass that grows on hay fields or pastures after mowing or grazing. Aftermath yields are highest on fertile soils and in regions with a humid climate. The yields are particularly high if the first mowing or grazing occurs before the crops flower and if nitrogen fertilizers are applied after mowing or grazing.
