Aga Mirak Isfahani 

Artist of the 16th-century Tabriz school of miniatures and ivory carver. Painter of several miniatures, including Mejnun Among the Wild Beasts, in the famous Khamsah manuscript by Nizami (1539–43, British Museum, London). His works are distinguished by harmonious composition, subtle use of color, and extremely fine elaboration of detail.
