Talish
a village in Ashtarak Raion, Armenian SSR. Talish is the site of the seventh-century architectural ensemble of the princely residence of Aruch. Another significant architectural monument is the Church of St. Gregory (680’s), which has a domed hall, the dome of which has collapsed, with interior wall paintings of the seventh century. Near the church are the ruins of a hall with three aisles, a palace complex with a columned hall and an exterior gallery (680’s), and a vaulted chapel (12th–13th centuries) and a caravansary (13th century).
