Aidinbekov, Mukhtadir
(Abdul Mukhtadir Aidinbek ogly). Born 1884; died 1918. Active participant in the struggle for Soviet power in the Caucasus. Born in the village of Akhty, Samur Okrug, Dagestan Oblast, into the family of a poor peasant. Aidinbekov became a member of the Communist Party in 1904. He had been a laborer in the oil fields of Baku since 1898. He participated actively in the social democratic group Gummet and the union of oil workers and in 1906 became a member of the social democratic group Faruk. He suffered persecution from the tsarist government. In June 1917, he became a member of the Baku committee of the RSDLP (Bolshevik); in October of the same year he became a member of the Baku Soviet. In 1918, he did revolutionary work in southern Dagestan. In the fall of 1918, he was arrested by the Musavatists and killed. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
