Aiotsdzorskii Range

Daralagez Range, a mountain range in the south of the Soviet part of the Armenian Highland, in the interfluve of the Arpa and Nakhichevanchai rivers (in the Armenian SSR and Nakhichevan ASSR). In the east it abuts the Zangezur Range. The Aiotsdzorskii Range is 70 km long, with elevations up to 3,120 m (Mount Gogi). The western part is composed of Paleozoic and Mesozoic sedimentary rock (limestones, sandstones, quartzites, schists, and others); the eastern part, of Paleogene sedimentary and volcanic deposits and Neogene lavas. Mountain-steppe and mountain-meadow landscapes prevail.
