| The afternoon highlight was the packed two-hour air display, opening with the Chinook precision drop of the Australian and NZ para teams. With less new aircraft, and with some wonderful oldies flying too, after the first day, the actual air display program did not actually get under way until 1pm, more like Farnborough, and starting with the helicopters. The display totals more than 600,000 square feet in nine exhibit halls and another 16,000 square feet in the open air display area. |
