The purpose of this letter is to bring to your attention several concerns that the agency has regarding the possible use of sanitizer and/or disinfectant products, and possibly other types of antimicrobial products, to treat the surfaces of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) systems, typically as part of air duct cleaning.
In addition, the company has a wide variety of High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA)-powered air duct cleaning systems to ensure that proper equipment is used for specific situations.
In 2002, the company was awarded a United States Patent on the finest and most unique Air Duct Cleaning truck in the industry and in 2005 marked the beginning of the first of its international franchises with the shipment of the first two Duct Doctor trucks to the Middle Eastern country of the United Arab Emirates.
