Akaka Falls State Park

Location: At the end of Akaka Falls Road (Highway 220), 3.6 miles southwest of Honomu.
Facilities: Walking path, scenic lookout.
Activities: Hiking, nature study.
Special Features: A self-guided walk takes visitors through lush tropical vegetation to views of cascading Kahuna Falls and free-falling Akaka Falls, which plunges 442 feet into a gorge.
