Akhmarov-Iurlov Comet
a long-period comet discovered by Soviet amateur astronomers I. V. Akhmarov and S. N. Iurlov (Udmurt ASSR) in 1939. At its discovery, the Akhmarov-Iurlov comet was of about third stellar magnitude, had a long tail, and was distinguished by abrupt changes in its external aspect.
