Aktiubinskii

an urban-type settlement in Aznakaev Raion, Tatar ASSR. Located in the east of the republic, 36 km north of Bugul’ma railroad station. Population 7,700 (1968). It was founded in 1956 as one of the centers of the petroleum industry of Tataria.
