Alamo Lake State Park

Location: 38 miles north of Wenden and US 60.
Facilities: 250 campsites (developed and undeveloped), electrical and water hookups, showers, restrooms, picnic area, picnic shelters, group-use area, biking trails, marina, boat ramps, boat rental, visitor center, playground (é).
Activities: Camping, boating, canoeing, fishing, swimming, bicycling, rock hounding, wildlife viewing.
Special Features: Alamo Lake is located on the Bill Williams River where the Big Sandy River and Santa Maria River come together and is considered one of the state's best for largemouth bass fishing. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including waterfowl, mule deer, foxes, coyotes, bald and golden eagles, and wild burros.
