Location:In Huron County, 5 miles northeast of Caseville on M-25.
Facilities:226 modern campsites (é), outdoor center (a secluded area with 13 cabins, dining hall, kitchen, toilet/shower building, and picnic pavilion), day-use picnic area, shelter (é), trails (4 miles), beach house, playground. Boating access and fishing piers nearby.
Activities:Camping, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Located on Lake Huron's Saginaw Bay, park features a half-mile beach of fine sand as well as sandy dunes, forest, and wetlands. It is named for the Michigan governor (1917-1920) who signed into law the statute that created the state park system.
