Allaire State Park Location: In Monmouth County, off the Garden State Parkway (Exit 98) or I-195 (Exit 31B). Facilities: 45 tent and trailer campsites with flush toilets and showers, 4 yurts (é), 6 shelters (é), 6 group sites with pit toilets, picnic tables and shelters, playground, food concession, equestrian trails, nature trails, historic sites, visitor center and museum, nature center. Activities: Camping, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, limited deer hunting, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, bird watching, historical programs, nature programs. Special Features: Park features historic Allaire Village, a restored 19th-century ironmaking village, and Pine Creek Railroad, with live-steam and diesel, narrow-gauge trains. The Manasquan River winds through the park and through Spring Meadow Golf Course, which is located adjacent to the park.
