Location: Allegany includes two recreational areas: the Quaker area is off I-86/Route 17 (Southern Tier Expressway) at Exit 18; the Red House area is off Exits 19 and 20.

Special Features: Park is the largest in New York's state park system, with two developed areas: The Red House area is known for its historic Tudor-style Administration Building, which houses a natural history museum. The Quaker area features two lakes as well as an old Quaker store that has been restored and now houses a park museum. Exhibits in the museum document the history of Allegany State Park and orient visitors to the park's unique features and attractions.
