Allobroges (əlŏ`brəjēz), Celtic tribe in Gaul, inhabiting later Dauphiné and Savoy. They were conquered (121 B.C.) by Quintus Fabius Maximus, who was called Allobrogicus in commemoration of the victory. In the time of Julius Caesar they sided with Rome.
