Location: Off US 101 in Waldport.
Facilities: Visitor center, restrooms.
Activities: Interpretive programs, crabbing and clamming demonstrations (seasonal), whale watching, interpretive programs and events.
Special Features: Constructed by the Oregon Department of Transportation as part of a bridge replacement project, the center depicts the history of transportation along the Oregon Coast from 1800 to the present. Exhibits focus on the historic Alsea Bay Bridge, completed in 1936, and its replacement, which opened in 1991.
