(inorganic chemistry)
HSO3NH2White, nonvolatile crystals slightly soluble in water and organic solvents, decomposes at 205°C; used to clean metals and ceramics, and as a plasticizer, fire retardant, chemical intermediate, and textile and paper bleach.
