Web: www.visitamishcountry.com Description: Byway offers opportunities to learn about and experience the culture and history of the Amish and northern Appalachian people. Points of interest include: the Amish and Mennonite Heritage Center, which includes a cyclorama of Amish and Mennonite and Hutterite history; Historical Winesburg, founded in 1827; the Farmer's Produce Auction; Killbuck Museum and Victorian House Museum; and Amish Country antique stores and markets. The Killbuck Marsh Wildlife Area spans both Wayne and Holmes counties and is the state's largest remaining marshland outside of the Lake Erie Region.

Start/Endpoint: Byway is located in Holmes County, Ohio and has four major access portals: from the northwest along SR 39 at Loudonville; from the northeast on US 62 near Wilmot; from the southwest on US 62 at Brinkhaven; and from the southeast along SR 39 near Sugarcreek/Shanesville. Time to Allow: 1.5 hours. Designation/Year: National Scenic Byway (2002).
