It may be noted that hundreds of men, women and children were killed and scores wounded when a blast in the ammunition depot of Ojhri camp in April 1988 made shells and rockets of various shapes and sizes rain down across the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
One civilian was killed and another wounded in an explosion while three ammunition depots were seized in western Herat province, bordering Iran, officials said on Monday.
Late Sunday night, sources said militants attacked camps of security forces in airports of Mingora and Saidu Sharif and fled when forces repulsed the attacks and also targeted ammunition depots of militants.
