Amphilochus

Amphilochus (ămfĭl`əkəs), in Greek mythology, son of Amphiaraüs Amphiaraüs , in Greek mythology, a prophet, one of the ill-fated Seven against Thebes. He foresaw the disaster of the expedition, but Polynices bribed his wife, Eriphyle, with the magic necklace of Harmonia, to convince him to go.

 and brother of Alcmaeon. He was one of the Epigoni Epigoni , in Greek legend, the sons of the Seven against Thebes, who avenged the death of their fathers. Under the leadership of Adrastus and Alcmaeon, the Epigoni conquered Thebes 10 years after the Seven had fought alongside Polynices for the throne of Thebes.
