Anabar Plateau

a plateau in the northeastern part of the Central Siberian Plateau, lying in Krasnoiarsk Krai and the Yakut ASSR. The surface is convex and gently sloping; elevations reach 905 m. In its central part, the plateau is composed of Archean crystalline schists, gneisses, and granites; around the periphery, of reef sandstones. In the valleys open larch forests predominate (up to an elevation of 400–450 m); above this there is mountain tundra.
