Anclote Key Preserve State Park Location: 3 miles off the coast of Tarpon Springs; accessible only by private boat. Facilities: Primitive campsites, picnic areas, pavilions, restrooms. Activities: Camping, swimming, boating, wildlife viewing. Special Features: Park is home to at least 43 species of birds, including the American oystercatcher, bald eagle, piping plover. A picturesque 1887 federal lighthouse is located at the southern end of the island.
