Anderson Lake Conservation Area Location: West central Illinois, along IL 100 in Fulton County, 11 miles north of Browning. Facilities: Class C campsites (tents or trailers), showers, picnic areas, 2 picnic shelters, boat docks, 2 boat ramps. Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, hunting. Special Features: In the early half of the 1900s, Anderson Lake was a private shooting grounds for one of the many duck clubs in the Illinois River valley. Today's recreational opportunities include dove, squirrel, and waterfowl hunting, as well as exceptional bluegill fishing.
