Anisoplia Segetum
a beetle of the family Scarabeidae. The body measures 8–12 mm, and the color is greenish black. The elytra are reddish yellow; those of the female have a black spot near the scutellum. The underparts of the body, head, and pronotum are covered with dense hairs. A. segetum is found in the steppe zone of Europe. It damages cereal crops by eating around the flowering spikes. Its mode of life is similar to that of the beetle A. austriaca, but it is less harmful. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
