Annual Publications of the All-Union Book Chamber 

(1)Pechaf SSSR v 19—godu (Publications of the USSR in 19—), a statistical yearbook appearing since 1954 and containing information on the publication of books and periodicals. The yearbook provides an analysis of published works according to various categories, including type of publication, regional origin, contents, and language. A summary article indicates the basic trends in the development of publishing in the year under review.

(2)Ezhegodnik knigi SSSR (Annual of Books of the USSR), a two-volume cumulative bibliographical index, published since 1925, of books and pamphlets recorded in the main part of the Knizhnaia letopis’ (Chronicle of Books) during the corresponding year. The material is organized according to fields.

(3)Bibliografiia sovetskoi bibliografii (Bibliography of Soviet Bibliography; the volume for 1939 appeared in 1941; after an interval published since 1948), a general reference work on bibliographical indexes and lists published in the USSR both separately and in books, magazines, and collections. A summary article describes the state of Soviet bibliography in the given year.
