Anshun

Anshun (än`shn`), city (1994 est. pop. 205,600), W central Guizhou prov., SW China. A flourishing town during the opium traffic days, it is now an important market and commercial center. Among its products are green tea, processed foods, steel, and machinery. It is famous for its scissors, cleavers, and leather products.

Plant materials Urtica fissa was collected in July, 2005 at Anshun mountains in Guizhou Province of China, and identified by Professor Liu Cun-sheng in Beijing University of Chinese Traditional Medicine.
