Anshun

Anshun (än`shn`), city (1994 est. pop. 205,600), W central Guizhou prov., SW China. A flourishing town during the opium traffic days, it is now an important market and commercial center. Among its products are green tea, processed foods, steel, and machinery. It is famous for its scissors, cleavers, and leather products.

Intergraph China, a business unit of US-based Intergraph Corporation (Nasdaq:INGR), announced today that AnShun Electric Bureau has purchased G/Electric, Intergraph's next-generation geospatial information management system for electric utilities.
The eight Model D10D ball mills will be used with two 300 MW boilers, four ball mills per boiler, at a new Anshun power plant to be built by the Guizhou Province Electric Power Bureau.
