Antigas Kit, Individual
a set of degassing substances, intended for treating the skin and small areas of a uniform or clothing and equipment that have been contaminated by toxic substances or bacteriological (biological) agents. The kit consists of a case with two small containers for degassing solutions: one for the neutralization of nerve gases, the other for gases with a skin-blistering effect, such as mustard gas. There may also be acontainer for an all-purpose degasser. To treat the skin, the gauze or paper napkins in the case are moistened with the appropriate solution, wrung out slightly, and then applied to the contaminated parts of the body.
