Antipin, Petr Fedorovich
Born Dec. 13 (25), 1890, in Kashin, Tver’ Province; died Oct. 30, 1960, in Leningrad. Soviet metallurgist, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1939). Graduated from the Petro-grad Electrotechnical Institute in 1921. Antipin’s basic work was in the metallurgy of aluminum and in the electrochemistry of molten substances.
