Antratsit
(until 1962, Bokovo-Antratsit), a city; center of Antratsit Raion, Voroshilovgrad Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Railroad station. Population, 97,000 (1968). Antratsit has a coal-mining industry and ore-concentration factories, as well as plants engaged in mine-equipment repair, production of blocks from slag and asphalt, and large-panel housing construction. The city also has food industry enterprises and a mining technicum. It possesses a museum of revolutionary, military, and labor glory.
