An early version of the BASIC programming language from Apple that came with the Apple II. Installed in firmware and always available, it was the successor to Integer BASIC. See Integer BASIC.

The computer program was written in AppleSoft BASIC on the Apple IIE with 48 kilobytes of memory.
He started his career at Apple Computer as the company's first programmer and worked on Applesoft Basic and system software for the Apple II computer.
