Owner Roger Tuby, 31, from Doncaster, said: "At first we thought it was an early April Fool's joke.
Byline: Clive Sydenham WHEN I first read the letter from WJ Surringer (Viewpoints, April 9), I had to make sure of the date as I thought that perhaps I had in my confusion got the dates mixed up and that this letter was some sort of cruel April fool's joke, but then I realised that this gentleman was apparently for real.
One said that when her son told her the news she thought it was an April Fool's joke.
