During the welding workshop, the welders were exposed to metal fume and airborne PM from shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, plasma arc cutting, and grinding, with carbon steel being the most commonly used base metal. Several improvements were made in the factory during the quarter including the installation of new plasma arc cutting equipment and automated boom welding equipment. |
