Location: Extends south from the mining town of Leadville to the Pueblo Reservoir. Main roads of access include Highways 285/24 and 50/291.
Facilities: 102 campsites (no drinking water available), group campground (with restrictions), 108 picnic sites, 14 bathhouses, trails (27 miles total), boat launches, visitor/nature center (é).
Activities: Camping (year-round), fishing, ice fishing, boating, river rafting and kayaking, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting (with restrictions), rock climbing, sightseeing, interpretive programs.
Special Features: Park stretches nearly 150 miles along the Arkansas River, with spectacular views and abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation, including white-water boating.
