Location: Located on part of the former Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, Maine.
Facilities: Visitor contact station, trails.
Activities: Hiking, fishing, canoeing, wildlife observation, cross-country skiing, snowshowing.
Special Features: Once a part of Loring Air Force Base, the Aroostook property served as a storage site for weapons during the Cold War.
Habitats: 4,295 acres of restored and forested wetlands.
Access: Year round during daylight hours.
Wild life: Moose, beaver, bear, deer.
