Arti 

an urban-type settlement; administrative center of Arti Raion, Sverdlovsk Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the Artia River (near its confluence with the Ufa), 62 km southeast of the Krasnoufimsk railroad station. Population, 13,800 (1968). Arti has a mechanized plant that produces agricultural scythes and sickles and sewing needles. Arti grew up around a metallurgical plant built in 1782 and re-equipped for the manufacture of scythes in the 19th century.

Arti Halai, who covered news and current affairs for ITV until being made unexpectedly redundant last year, has put together a series of 30 lessons to help people think in pluses rather than minuses.
In addition to unveiling the 2009 Businesswoman of the Year, former ITV Central presenter and entrepreneur Arti Halai will announce the winner of this year's Woman of Achievement Awards.
Such courses are intended for those students who wish to learn Italian and to deepen their art studies at the prestigious Nuova Accademia delle Belle Arti di Milano, NABA (New Academy of Fine Arts of Milan).
