Ash, Roy L. (Lawrence) (1918– ) corporate executive; born in Los Angeles. He co-founded Electro-Dynamics Corporation with Charles B. Thornton (1953) and soon bought Litton Industries (president 1961–72). His financial acumen in acquiring high-technology companies turned Litton into one of the first modern international conglomerates. He was director of the Office of Management and Budget (1972–75) and after 1975 headed Addressograph-Multigraph Corporation. How to thank TFD for its existence?
